The Iron Horse Trail follows an abandoned CN line for 177 kilometres, from Heinburg all the way to Waskatenau, crossing through several communities en route. This multi-use trail passes through forest, wetlands, farmland and prairie.
Stop in one of the small towns en route for a snack or some window shopping, and don’t miss the UFO Landing Pad in St. Paul, the giant Peter Fidler statue in Elk Point, or the world’s largest perogy in Glendon! The trail also features over 1,400 hidden geocaches, accessible year-round.
