Salt Marsh Trail
Sponsored by: Globalstar Canada Satellite Co.
Situated on traditional Mi’kmaq territory, the Salt Marsh Trail is a pleasure to explore. Begin in a beautiful wooded section and continue to the Cole Harbour Salt Marsh, one of Nova Scotia’s best-known wetlands, which abounds with bird and marine life such as ospreys, herons, gulls and bald eagles. Lucky visitors may even spot seals and otters.
Enjoy the dramatic tidal changes or stop at a bench along the trail to have a snack or simply enjoy the ocean vistas. The wooded sections of the trail light up with colour in the fall.
